People alone and together make change happen. DFEL has inspired by how communities fundamentally shape how we experience our daily lives. We have grown because people in East Lothian, unpaid and paid, came together to make things happen.

This is a space to celebrate and be inspired by people and communities making lives better across East Lothian. From community gardens and kitchens to walking groups and community hubs, East Lothian has a wealth of stories showing what happens when people of all ages and communities come together to build on what’s strong in their community.
